Access for everyone
Accessibility Statement
Última actualización: September 21, 2026
North Star CFSS is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is central to who we are — we serve people who rely on supportive services, and our website should work for them.
Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of abilities, including visual, hearing, motor, and cognitive differences.
What we do
To support accessibility, our website is designed to:
- Work with keyboard navigation and screen readers;
- Use clear headings, labels, and meaningful link text;
- Maintain readable color contrast and resizable text;
- Offer content in English, Spanish, Somali, and Hmong;
- Avoid content that flashes or relies on color alone to convey meaning.
Getting help another way
If any part of our website is difficult to use, you do not have to navigate it alone. Call us and a real person will help you with information, the intake process, or anything else on the site — in your preferred language.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We review our website regularly and work to fix barriers as we find them. Some content or linked third-party resources may not yet fully meet our goals, and we appreciate your patience as we improve.
Give us feedback
We welcome your feedback. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or need information in a different format, please contact us by phone or email, or by mail at the address listed in the site footer. Tell us the page and the problem, and we will do our best to help and to fix it.
